SPAIN. Madrid. Baby, by Marc Quinn. At a traditional Bronze foundry in Madrid, Marc Quinn, the British Artist, is having a vast bronze sculpture built. Digitally enlarged from a three dimentional scan of Marc Quinn's son Lucas, it has been accurately enlarged to a size of 9 meters long. It will be installed in Chatsworth House in August 2008. The engineering on the project was done by Atelier One, the British engineers, and was a major challenge for them as the whole structure is supported at a single point, the baby's hand. 2008.
