NEPAL. Katmandu. 2005. The wife and children of a Maoist student activist who was arrested by government security forces, and not been seen or heard from for several years. By 2005, Nepal has come to rival Columbia as the country in the world with the most people who have disappeared at the hands of it's security forces. The disappeared husband is seen on the photograph in the windowsill.
