EGYPT. Cairo. Later this year, a council of Turkish scholars will publish a re-appraisal of some of Islam's most controversial practices. "There is one tradition which says ladies are religiously and rationally not complete and of lesser mind," says a member of the commission, Ismail Hakki Unal of Ankara University.
