In 2 years after the photo was taken, his hut, his half acre land on which he does subsistence farming, his village as well as 72 other villages in this area would be submerged because of the dam that has been built in this area. He would have no option but to migrate to the city where his son lives and earns his living by cutting sugarcanes. He fears he will now survive for long if he goes to the city.
