GREECE. Kos. September 12, 2015. Maysam and Yusuf (R) wait in line to receive their authorization to leave Kos. She had arrived with her brother, sister and mom several days before by dinghy from Turkey after fleeing Syria. They hoped to make it to Holland to join their sister. They received fake documents from a smuggler and tried to board a plane for Switzerland. Maysam and her sister Naela succeeded on boarding the plane, but were caught on a train in Germany and forced to register. They will have a hearing in March. Their mother and brother Yusuf were caught and forced to do the overland trek. They successfully arrived in holland.
