UZBEKISTAN. KARAKALPAKSTAN. urga. 2013. The Soviet village of Urga was originally built on the shore of the Aral Sea and was a major fishing hub. The village was abandoned when the sea and fish began to disappear, but a small crew of fisherman work out of a two room building, fishing 200kg of fish per day out of Sudochye Lake.
