Khalilullah, 47, sent his 14-year-old son Ahmad Faysal to Europe. With three daughters and two sons, he supports his family by working at a rehabilitation center in Kabul. “I have never tasted the meaning of normal life in this country. There is no stability and prosperity. Since I was born, there has been endless conflict and I wouldn’t want my son to live as I have had to,” he explained. His son arrived in Europe and is in contact with him. “I don't expect my son to send me money. I want him to study and get asylum,” he added.
