Newsha Tavakolian
IRAN. Zardkuh, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. 2018. Ezzat Hemati, 60 years old on the left sitting in his relative’s tent, Morid Ghanbari, 50 years old in the middle. Ezzat arrived the same day and because of the rain and wet ground couldn’t set up his tent. He doesn’t have a land in which he can live with his family and he should search for one to rent. “ Bakhtiari girls at the age of 15 or 16 should get married because they don’t have anything else to do. They can’t go to school far away and study with boys or a male teacher. It’s not good in our culture, That’s why girls should marry soon.”
