IRAN. Zardkuh, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. 2018. Mahshid Ghanbari, 12 years old in her family’s tent. She used to go to school and was one of the best students in her school. She was among the best student, even after quitting school her teachers called her family many times to ask them to let her continue her study. Her mom says “Her teacher once told me that she could be one of the greatest woman in our country but I don’t like my daughter to be far away from us, her sister also asked me to let her live with her family in town, to study, but I won’t let her.” Her parents didn’t let her to go to school as they believe she is a woman now and It will be a disaster if she goes to school alone and be in a class with male teacher. Mahshid’s dream is to continue her study.
