This Unesco listed site is thought to have been the home of Marcus Aurelius Maximinianus, Rome's co-emperor during Diocletian's reign AD 286-305. The floor mosaics are the finest in existence, varied and largely intact. Here, a part of the floor of the Palestrite room where the girls engaged in various sports are shown in bikinis.
