Europe. Italy. Sicily. Favara. The Farm Cultural Park. In 2010, a married couple bought several old houses and buildings in the dilapidated heart of this small town and turned them into an art centre. It now hosts international exhibitions and has brought life to a town that was dying. Best of all, some old ladies still clinging to their homes in the almost deserted town centre are now an integral part of the Farm which has grown up around them and brought life back to Favara. Here, a group of families have brought their young children to a class to learn about food and cookery, the dads being left with the push chairs and children's backpacks. 2018
