Piebe Dam (80) Piebe is a permanent resident of Humanitas, but he doesn’t suffer from Dementia. His wife Jans does. They have been married for 51 years and he would never leave her alone. Sometimes he finds it difficult to deal with - Soros a student and friend of Piebe explains.
Piebe and Jans used to work in a factory that produced Bodex cloths. In total they made 42 fabrics. The fabric he is showing is an independence cloth from Nigeria. It is very precious to both of them and reminds them of the time working there.
