TURKEY, Diyarbakir, 2018. Fatma 28, poses in her house in Diyarbakir. With her family, they
decided to stay and not leave their home when the conflict started between PKK ( Kurdistan Workers Party) militants and Turkish security forces on 2015. They left Sur district when their house was targeted and damaged by mortar on 81th day of the fight and her mother was wounded. Her mother died in a few hours in age 64, Fatma, her father and sister got arrested. She was tortured and her arm was broken by police officers during her detention. She and her father were released after 1 year and half of detention but her sister is still in jail, accused of being member of or helping a terrorist organisation.
