USA. NYC. 2018. Anat is from Haifa, Israel and has been working in the restaurant industry since she was seventeen years old. She has
been a bartender and server and now owns a café called Kirsh Bakery, with her husband, Dan, on the Upper West Side.
This is the second restaurant that Anat and Dan have created. Their first restaurant was Zuni, in Jerusalem, Israel, which
they opened thirteen years ago. Dan and Anat travel between New York and Israel, running their two restaurants and
caring for their two children, Yonatan and Mia. They believe in creating a community around good food and fostering an
environment that is warm and welcoming.
