IRAN. Khadjeh Abad Village, Khuzestan. 2018. Mahnaz Mokhtari, 39 years old and her daughter Elham Mokhtari, 6 years old in their house in /khajeh Abad Village, Close to Lali town, Khuzestan Province.
Mahnaz:” It’s our first year not living in a tent as nomads in our whole lives. It’s much more comfortable living in a house. We rented this house to be able to stay and send our kids to school. I think we will continue nomadic life and move as soon as our children finish school.”
Mahnaz is now living with her family, 2 daughters and a son along with her mother and mother in law.
