Zohrab Jamalpour, 62 years old standing with his gun in front of his tent on the way to Sardasht Town. “ Nomadics life has been changed a lot and it’s changing faster more and more each day. Now I am living a nomadic life while my wife and family live in a house in a small village. I chose this style and I really feel good about it as my family are living a better life now having a house with electricity, phone and many other stuff which comfort their lives. Before even a rain could have been a catastrophe for us, we had pack our stuff quickly and take care of the folks and the kids and it was a horrible life. I believe that the nomadic life will extinct whiten the next years. For example, at the time we moved to a house it was just our family and no other families were there for kilometers but now It became a village and perhaps in the next years it will become a small city and it grows each day. I spend the nights here in mountains with my flock. Some times I force my sons to stay here since it’s hard for me to shepherding alone. They hate it but there is no other way and we have to keep our flock to have an income. I sleep here so tight and calm.”
