IRAN. Khuzestan. 2018. Zamani Family having a stop for the night on the way to Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The father of the family called Haji doesn’t let his daughters to study as he believes it’s a disaster if a girl wants to be independent and study. Zamani family couldn’t afford renting a truck to make their move easier, so that they have to walk and drive a car which carries their belongings, elderly and kids. During the past years, many families stopped moving and living a nomadic life because of the hardships and climate change, but still there are some families who are not satisfied with their nomadic lives but they can’t stop as the only income for their families are their flocks which makes them to move back and forth between Khuzestan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
