French Movie makers Régis WARGNIER, Jean-Jacques ANNAUD and Jacques PERRIN.

Jacques PERRIN came to join the INSTITUT DE FRANCE on Wednesday December 8th after he was elected to the vacant seat by Francis GIROD at the cinema section ("Artistic Creations in Cinema and Audiovisual") of the Academy of Fine Arts.

He is here surrounded by Jean-Jacques ANNAUD and Régis WARGNIER themselves directors and members of the Academy as Jeanne MOREAU and Roman POLANSKI (who were not present).

As a reminder, the Institut de France is composed of five academies, the best known of the general public is the French Academy devoted to the French language.
The Academy of Fine Arts is one of four others.
It consists of 8 sections including one dedicated to "Artistic Creations in Cinema and Audiovisual".
