American veteran, Ryan Gallo, places an eagle’s feather in the braid of fellow veteran and activist named “Rattler” for his dedication to the cause of water protection. The honor was given by native leader and AIM activist Phillis Young (far right). Mr. Gallo was also awarded an eagle’s feather for his hard work at Standing Rock camp.
