Italy. Macerata. 2018. A small Italian town has been the focus of national and international media as Pamela Mastropietro was found dead. Her body was recovered in two suitcases in pieces. Innocent Oseghale,a 29 year old Nigerian national, along with two other people, is under investigation for the death. A few days later, Luca Traini a sympathizer of the right wing political party Lega Nord, drove around the town firing his 9mm glock at immigrants in a racially charged attack. He was apprehended an hour and a half later on the steps of the monument in Piazza della Vittoria.
