Malaysia. Sarawak. 2018. Indigenous land rights. Near the town of Selangau, Iban couple Semawi Anak Renang (52) and his wife Leman Senang (53) took Shin Yang to court in 2011 and won. They recovered 85 hectares of palm oil which they claimed on the basis of their native customary rights. They can get 475 ringgit for one metric tonne of palm oil. In the background, an Indonesia labourer who they hire.
