Moises Saman
SRI LANKA. Mullaitivu. January, 2018. Mariasuresh Eswary, 41, leads a group of Tamil women with disappeared family members in the town of Mullaitivu, northern Sri Lanka. The women have erected a protest tent in front of Mullaitivu's government office demanding that the government investigate the disappearances of their loved ones during the last days of the civil war that ended in 2009. Mariasuresh's husband has been missing since March of 2009 after he was arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy while he was fishing in Mullaitivu.
