USA. Petaluma, California. April 5, 2020. A few weeks ago I brought home two baby chicks that are still living in my studio until they grow enough feathers to keep warm outside. They can get very rowdy since they're in a small cage. At first, I liked it, but as the days wore on and the human shelter in place became serious their restless sounds made me anxious, so I thought it'd be a good idea to buy some grasshoppers for them to get busy with.
