ISRAEL. 1973. A parade in the street of the town of Bew'er-Sheva.
It is called the capital of the Negev, and has grown from a small administrative center for Bedouin tribes in the south, to a City of about 150.000 residents - an industrial, commericial, and cultural centre with a major hospital, a University (the Ben Gurion University of the Negev), a music conservatory.
