Reflection: A new exhibition of glass sculptures at Salisbury Cathedral curated by Jacquiline Creswell, the cathedral's Art Advisor, and Rebecca Newnham who will be exhibiting two pieces. Also exhibiting are Galia Amsel, Sabrina Cant, Amy Cushing, Sally Fawkes, Olivia Fink, Richard Jackson, Louis Thompson and Sylvie Vandenhoucke.
'New Perspective' is a piece by Sally Fawkes and Richard Jackson. Both artists studied at the Surrey College of Art and Design. Following her First Class Honours degree in 3D design (glass) Sally won several Arts Council Awards. Richard, also an award-winning sculptor, studied at San Francisco State University after graduating. Both artists have exhibited widely and completed many commissions.
Here, a visitor exclaims in wonder at the installation in glass, wood, mirror and gold leaf by Sally Fawkes and Richard Jackson and is herself reflected to mirror the theme of the Reflection exhibition. 2016
