IRAQ. 2003. Battle between 2nd brigade of 3rd id and iraqi soldiers. Medics attend to wounded Iraqis after a battle. Many of the captured Iraqis were wearing civilian clothing underneath military uniforms. Some said that they were forced conscripts under the threat of death from Baath party. Many were older than typical soldier age. Many had large amounts of Iraqi currency on them. 3rd Infantry Division, 2nd Brigade, Task Force 1-64 Armor, Alpha Company (Wild Bunch).
