INDIA. Bengal. Calcutta. 1981. A patient at Nirmal Hrinday (Home For The Dying) that was started by Mother TERESA to care for India's poorest of the poor. The patients, many of whom were picked up off the street dying of starvation, were brought here and cared for by the nuns and brothers of Missionaries of Charity. Nirmal Hrinday used to be a Hindu temple.
