PERU. Lima. October 2005. Ishamel, 41, AIDS and cancer patient and father of three, has recently seperated from his wife who is not HIV positive. Six years ago, HIV/AIDS treatment cost $10,000 a year. Today, due to generic drugs, most patients can be treated for less than $300 a year.
