USA. 2013. Cherisse (39) gave birth to her son 2002, leaving her unable to provide for herself and her son. Misinformation led her to the decision not to have an abortion in 2002, but had three abortions in 2004, 2005, and 2007, following the birth of her son. After her third abortion, Cherisse met with a reproductive-justice advocate to learn how to better understand her body.
