SCOTLAND. 2012. Uig to Staffin road, Isle of Skye, Inner Hebrides. Magnificent views of The Quiraing, Staffin Bay and the Sound of Raasay are afforded to those that cross the peak of the Uig to Staffin road. The road extends across the top of Trotternish Ridge, one of the more spectacular ridge traverses in Britain. The Quiraing is a group of rock formations which include ‘The Prison’, a ridge said to resemble a castle and its towers.
