Miners walk down a from a gold mine carrying bags filled with roughly cut pieces of minerals, some of them containing gold, that they are allowed to keep for themselves under the traditional "Cachorreo" system of payment for their work. Under the "Cachorreo" system, miners are not payed a salary, instead for a day or up to a week they are allowed to mine the gold mine and keep all the spoils for themselves.
