Sri Lanka has been devastated over the past decades. First, the conflict between the Singhalese Government/Army and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam movement (LTTE). The 2002 ceasefire, ended two decades of civil war killing more than 60,000. Second, the Tsunami which killed more than 30,000 people and devastated Sri Lanka's coast line the 26th of December, 2004.
