KENYA. Nairobi. 2008. Hungry residents of Kibera break through the gates of Kibera D.O. Health Center, where the Kenyan Red Cross were distributing maize flour and cooking oil. Thousands of people had lined up, and the Red Cross were distributing goods in an organized way, but as time passed and pressure and desperation grew, the crowd started pushing at the gates, until it broke open.
