From april to may, ceremonies were held on a grand scale throughout Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam's reunification (Saigon fell on 1975). A number of trucks displaying large, colorful pictures of "Uncle Ho"gathered in the square in front of the former Saigon's city hall, prior to parrading through the city's main streets.
