A cracked classroom wall with shrapnel marks still stands amid the ruins of the bombed Chakrabandah Middle School in the remote village of Chakrabandah, deep inside the Maoists's area on influence in Bihar's Gaya District.
Maoists guerrillas active in this area bombed the school after Indian security forces briefly occupied the school during the elections of 2009.
