There were 2000 American troops who left their lives on the Normandy beach called OMAHA (the Longest Day during the allied liberation armada of 6th June 1944, and among them was the American Soldier Ed Regan.

Like many Americans, Ed Regan was called up for Military Service in the beginning of 1943, he is seen here thrid row center before going to "boot camp". It was 18 months later that he was part of the Allied Expeditionary Force in the Normany beach landings at Omaha.
