Village school near Garwolin.
A Danish red Cross team has set up temporary headquarters to make tuberculin tests and BCG vaccinations of local children.
In May 1948 the Polish Government signed an agreement with the Danish Red Cross permitting a large-scale BCG campaign for children (Poland has the highest mortality from tuberculosis of any country in Europe).
