CHINA. Beijing. Bei Tang Cathedral. 400-500 people (all Chinese) attend the Sunday morning mass at 8am. In total about 1000 people come to the 3 services every Sunday. The cathedral was built in 1827. A notice outside the cathedral proclaims that "It suffered terrible losses during the Cultural Revolution 1966-1976)." In February 1985 the cathedral was returned to the Catholic Church. 1999.
