The "Frigg" plaftform, named after the Scandinavian godess of Abundance and Fertility, is part of a group of 6 steel atolls, shared by the French petroleum companies ELF & TOTAL. They are used for research programs and for pumping natural gas and petroleum from beneath the sea.
A small fire in the electricity generating group causes immediate intervention of the security staff.
