Hamburg, Germany. A poor family inside a Nissen hut in the road "Weg beim JŠger," Hamburg-FuhlsbŸttel. A girl takes a bath in the kitchen. These temporary, corrugated iron huts were erected quickly after the War to provide accommodation for the homeless. Subsequently they were used to house low-income families.
