In the little schoolroom attached to the detention room for children at Women's Police headquarters, a policewoman explains the traffic signs to two children found trying to get dangerous free rides by hanging on the back of trams.
The Women's Police have been started since the war, consists of young, mostly attractive women trained specially in child psychology. Their main function is to look after vagrant children who seem in need of care, and to watch for prostitution.
Food distribution to vagrant children.
