JORDAN. The Jordan Valley. On each day, the boys of the YMCA school in the Jordan Valleyline up for their cup of milk, this is supplied by the UN International Childrens Emergency Fund. This organisation has furnished milk to more than 430,000 refugee children for the past three years. At the beginning, it was necessary to force the children to drink the milk but they have now become eager for it. Sometimes when there isn't sugar to mix with the powder base they still drink it. 1952.
