A voluntary MACADAM newspaper vendor, specifically published deals with SDF problems. They can earn up to 200 frs per day in commissions, thus giving them an income to thus get welfare benefits. Throughout France MACADAM is sold through a network of commissioned vendors. In Perpignan alone over 10.000 copies are sold each month. MACADAM the monthly magazine of the homeless was produced to provide the unemployed with "human dignity" and a role in society.
