Patrick Zachmann
June, 2000.
The design of the Mongolian felt tent called a Yurt or a Ger, has been developed over many generations. Their insulation remains warm in the arctic cold and cool in the summer heat. Their structure can collapse small enough to be packed on a hauling animal and can yet be reconstructed in a half an hour.
