The small village of Geyre near the Baba Dag (Father Mountain) amidst fertile plains watered by the Maeander River,occupied by farmers and their families.Inhabitants were here since 5800 BC,and in the 2nd cent became Aphrodisias,and conquered by the Romans.Became the richest and most famous city of Asia Minor with 60.000 inhabitants.
Village boys seated in front of their house, the columns are propped up with pieces of Temple ruins.
