The submarine departs on its first mission of deterrence.
MCP : Missile Control Post.
It is in the MCP that the crew will receive the message to fire sent by the President of the French Republic.
The entire nuclear device with its 16 missiles carrying nuclear warheads (exact figure not given) is controlled from the MCP. In total the devastating effect of 500 times the power of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
