Part of a series of images taken while List had injured his foot in the fall of 1953 and could not walk in the streets. All images were shot from a window of Max Schelers apartment at Via della Lungarina, 65. During this period he experiments with Schelers 35mm equipment and uses a telephoto lens for the first time.
