Since 2010 the project "Camargue and men" allows inmates serving long sentences in the central prison of Arles, working sessions with Camargue horses.
With the meeting with the horses, inmates are also allowed to take a meal together with cellmates, sports instructors of the prison, and psychologists. For most inmates it is their first meal out of the cell since many years.
