At San Rafael Juarez cemetery, bodies are now being exhumed.
Thanks to the project " Inter-diciplinario de identificacion de restos humanos", The government is hoping new scientific methods will help identify so many of the nameless dead in what is becoming a crisis of major proportions.
Many of those bodies are still in the morgue. They have not been identified, nobody has claimed them. Many of their families don't even know they have died."
Ciudad Juarez now accounts for a quarter of the country's record 5 O00 murders so far this year.
