The Nobel Peace prize winner for 2009 was announced October 9 in Oslo, Norway: US President Barack Obama. Magnum Photos has documented many of the Peace Prize winners over the past sixty years and they are all gathered here. The illustrious and sometimes controversial company includes Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Dag Hammarskjold, Linus Pauling, Dr. Martin Luther King, Willy Brandt, Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Lech Walesa, and Mikhail Gorbachev.
